New training centre now open!

Author // Administrator

DCS Training CIC has opened a new training centre in the west end of Newcastle. DCS Training CIC opened their doors in 2004, to facilitate construction programmes to long-term unemployed learners wishing to enter employment within the industry. This has been part of Jobcentre Plus New Deal programme which has run successfully for the past 5 years, with an excellent success rate of clients entering employment.

DCS Training CIC has now expanded from their base in Byker to open a new centre on Whitehouse Industrial Est., Scotswood. The new centre will facilitate Alternative Provision for 14 to 16 year old learners who struggle to attend mainstream provision. We have the full support of the new Excelsior Academy, Youth Offending Team and Linhope School(pupil referral unit). We are also backed by Newcastle City Council, and are the largest provider of Alternative Provision within the city.
