Looking for a Trainee?

Could you do with some help on site?

We are taking our opportunity to invite more organisations, small businesses and sole-traders to join us in providing unemployed people with the chance to prove that they can work hard. They are keen to pick up some of the skills that you can provide them with to progress in the Construction industry.

Some have no experience of the Construction industry; others have experience and qualifications. We give them the knowledge to pass their CSCS Card, all they need from you is on site experience to complete their application and begin their real career in their chosen trade.

What’s in it for you?

  • You can have someone on placement for up to 12 weeks at NO COST to yourself.

  • If you don’t have enough work, you can send the trainee back to centre.

  • You could receive up to £75 a week for 6 months towards wages.

  • You could receive money towards their tools.

  • You could receive up to £750 toward training that would help them to help your business.

  • It’s a great way of recruiting – Work trials with no ties.

    • All of our trainees are looking for a chance to prove to you, to me, to their family and friends but most of all to themselves that they can do it.

    DCS TRAINING - CIC Training Charter

  • All of our trainees have been through an interview and selection process.

  • All of our trainees will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

  • All Trainees are to attend DCS TRAINING - CIC one day a week for training with us.

  • All Trainees will have their CSCS Card by weeks 4-6.

  • All of our trainees want to achieve and progress through our provision.
